Privately owned Ulusaba, offers guests over 13,500 hectares of unspoilt, game-rich Bush in near solitude. Experienced Trackers and Game Rangers will accompany you on game drives and bush walks.
It has 20 rooms and suites spread over two seperate lodges; Rock Lodge and Safari Lodge.
Rock Lodge comprises of 8 airy and spacious rooms/suites perched on top of a koppie giving beautiful views onto the surrounding bushveld. With the breath-taking Drakensberg Mountains as your backdrop, taking a dip in the communal swimming pool is a dreamy experience in between game drives. For those on honeymoon or couples wanting some extra privacy, the Master Suite and Makwela Suites have their own private plunge pool which makes for a brilliant addition to the room.
A viewing deck, gym and boma complete the make-up of this beautiful lodge.
For larger families and groups, Cliff Lodge (which forms part of Rock Lodge) is located a short walk from the main lodge. Running as a seperate entity, it offers two luxurious suites, private gym and a private spa treatment room. as well as your own private guide, tracker and chef. Accommodating up to five adults and four children, it is the perfect getaway for those who want an exclusive luxury safari.
Neslted under the ancient trees and overlooking a beautiful dry riverbed, Safari Lodge offers a very sophisticated and luxurious safari experience. The 10 rooms are exquisite tree-house style and provide every amenity one could ask for. There is a strict no under 12 policy here, so it is perfect for those seeking tranquility and peacefulness.
As well as excellent guiding and hospitality, Safari Lodge's facilities include a communal swimming pool, a gym and a spa. For those who love sport, there are two tennis courts that are also floodlit to help burn some of the extra calories that will no doubt be consumed whilst staying here! Additionally, visit the wine cellar for a spot of wine tasting or go star gazing at the observatory. No matter what you choose, you will have a brilliant time!
