Our View

Sandwiched between the Sabi Sands and TImbavati Game Reserves, Tintswalo Safari Lodge is situated in the Manyeleti Game Reserve which also forms part of the Greater Kruger Area where sightings of the 'Big 7' are often completed in a short stay. With six beautifully luxurious rooms, a seperate two-room presidential suite and a seperate Manor House which runs as its own lodge, Tintswalo has something for everyone.

Tintswalo Safari Lodge - The Details

The main lodge are comprises of a beauitful drawing room where the walls are studded with African art-work. A plethora of sofas and coffee-table books makes relaxing during the day a treat. In front of the main lounge is a deck that overlooks the bushveld.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner can all be served out on the deck whilst enjoying the company of the herds of elephants that frequent the area when water is scarce and the numerous nyala that feed on the shrubs below. This lends for some stunning photographic opportunities during a stay and the photos transformed into print at TIntswalo's own photographic suite.

Completing the lodge are six stunning rooms that are all euqipped with their own private plunge pools, air-conditioning and beautiful gifts and personal messages for when you return from your game drives. Each room has all the amenities you could ask for and the outside deck area in front of the room gives a perfect view into the Manyeleti wilderness.

Under twelves are not permitted at the main lodge, however the seperate Manor House and Presidential Suite does allow children.

Set apart from the main lodges and rooms is the two-room Presidential Suite. The rooms are the same style as those at the main lodge and there is a bigger private pool for those staying here to enjoy to themselves. This Suite has its own board walkway with a private pick-up and drop-off point for game drives and is based a kilometre from the Main Lodge area.

Equipped with its own private chef, butler and vehicle, there is no need to leave the Suite! It's own secluded boma makes for intimate and private dining experiences under the stars. Children of all ages are allowed here, however reserve rules state that no children under four are allowed to be on game drive.

The Manor House at Tintswalo runs as its own seperate lodge and is perfect for large families or big groups. With five luxury, en-suite bathrooms, a spacious lounge area and a private pool, everyone's needs are catered for. Just like the Presidential Suite, those staying at the Manor House have their own private chef, butler and vehicle with a private guide. Again, children of all ages are welcome here, yet the reserve rules of no children under four on game drive still applies.
