Choosing your accommodation for a dream holiday is by no means an easy feat. Often people are swamped by the multitude of choices on offer, but luckily we are here to help. This page has been designed specifically to help you with your choices. Here we provide you with a comprehensive list of the best camps, lodges and hotels you can visit when booking with us. We highlight the significant differences in accommodation types and what they can offer. Our interactive menu below also allows you to search through each accommodation option, arranged by name, price, location and rating, at your own leisure.

Best Luxury Safari Lodges

With plenty of options to choose from, selecting your safari accommodation isn't easy. Different lodges can offer different experiences depending on what you are after from your holiday. Some lodges will only have small guest occupancy and offer intimate experiences, whereas other camps will cater for larger groups.

Camps can also be mobile meaning that they are not permanent structures and they will relocate depending on the season and where the animals are most likely to be. Due to the accommodation manoeuvring regularly, these camps are normally made up from a number of luxury tents. These tents however, dispel all traditional myths of what may come to mind if you think of camping. Their furnishings are luxurious and all your needs will be met. Their placement is also extra-close to the action and will certainly make you feel more at one with nature. If you have the opportunity to stay in these mobile camps, do it.

Best Beach Hotels

Just like the safari camps, there are many varying options when it comes to accommodation by the beach. Generally the more you pay, the more intimate and luxurious your accommodation will be, however we have options that can cater for all budgets. The beach hotels we offer can either be the base for a perfect romantic getaway or for an ideal adventure and activity filled holiday.

Best Safari Lodges

It is very hard to rank Africa lodges with one simple measure! Our ranking is subjective and tries to reflect value for money as well as overall quality. Therefore we may award just three stars to certain 'five star' lodges in the hotel, or five stars to some superb, unashamed 'three star' hotels that are great value for money.

Kinasi Lodge - Mafia Island
Kinasi lodge was nice - a small paradise. It was the second time that we went there. The lodge is small and beautiful, placed in a wonderful garden with a swimming pool. We went also saw the whalesharks. Kinasi  Lodge has its own dive centre with a friendly  staff and so diving was perfect, there  were only  few divers not  to much people.

    King Lewanika - Liuwa Plains

    Our View

One of the earliest protected areas in Africa, Liuwa Plains. Unspoilt, exclusive with rare game viewing and a rich natural heritage.
Despite its luxurious design, King Lewanika Lodge retains a lot of its safari authenticity with canvas walls, lovely decks overlooking the grassy plains

This is a great choice for those looking for a remote stay in an unspoilt region wanting fantastic and unique game viewing.

Kinondo Kwetu - Indian Ocean Mainland

    Our View

Located on the quiet beach at Galu, Kinondo Kwetu is ideally located on the southern coastline of Kenya. The concept behind the lodge is one of tradition meets seclusion, and it is also one of the most versatile of the beach lodges on this coastline with family rooms and suites offered. A stunning little lodge that offers something a bit different with the spa, horse riding and nearby ruins in a relaxed and beautiful location.

    Kiota Camp - Serengeti, Central
We were met off the plane and had a game drive before we went to Kiota Camp. During our four days stay which you need, lost count of the number of lions we saw including a pride of 13, four tree climbing, an injured male with wire round his neck which had to be sedated with its female, by rangers and vet, and a family with a kill.
The herds of elephant, zebra, giraffe, buffalo and wilderbeast were huge. We also saw five leopards and three cheetahs. One with her cub got down from her rock and walked in front of our vehicle. Best of all our driver Raymond after another early start took us to see the migration.
It was completely unimagineable. Best of all they all got across the river.
Kiota camp was great staff, wonderful food, fantastic game drives.  We could hear lions every night and sometimes in the morning at breakfast. Also zebras and hyenas right outside our tent. What more could you ask for? - D & K Oates

Kirawira Lodge - Serengeti, Western Corridor
As far as tented camps go, Kirawira is slightly larger than most, but it also offers a higher level of opulence than its peers in that large category. Set in the Western corridor region of the Serengeti, all of the tents have spectacular views out over the plains, particularly in June and July when the Migration makes its way past.

    Kirkmans Kamp - Sabi Sands
We had an unbelievable time at Kirkmans. Our guide was a guy called Jarrud who said he knew you. He and his tracker were ultimate professionals. We just had the most exciting informative time with them. Our son was waiting to go excited pre 6am every morning and our daughter came along although sick for the first 2/3 drives.
The accommodation was fine as was the food, although the food may have become a little repetitive if you were there for any length of time. Staff were very friendly and helpful. - N Coles

Kirurumu Serengeti Camp - Serengeti, North
Kimondo - 4.5 Stars. The bed was quite comfortable and everything went very smoothly with the chemical toilet and the bucket shower. The food was very good, all things considered. It was quite strange though, we were the only ones staying at the camp during that time, and it made for quiet a lonely stay, to be honest. Since there is so much down time in the evenings with nothing to do, it just had a very quiet feel, and there were so many staff people working there and waiting on us that we felt a bit guilty. They did provide wonderful service though, and even lit a campfire every night for us.

    Kirurumu Tarangire - Tarangire
Although the camp is outside the park, it sits next to a flood plain that attracts animals throughout the dry season. It is not uncommon to have animals in and around the camp which is an important asset given the slightly un-remote location, setting it apart from its competitors in similar positions. It’s a ten minute drive down a dirt road off the main, tarmac road that leads from Arusha into Tarangire. Once inside the park this is the busiest area but, because the camp is close to the gate, you can drive a bit further into Tarangire than most of the crowds.
