Our View

The Silo has set a new standard of hotel in the heart of Cape Town. With beautiful views across the city and Table Mountain, the hotel has been built in the grain elevator portion of the historic grain silo complex that occupies six floors above the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa.

The Silo - The Details

The Silo is conveniently located next to the V&A Waterfront which allows guests to explore the plethora of bars, restaurants and shops. The Silo's roof-top bar is however one of its main attractions. With a 360-degree view of Cape Town, Table Mountain and the Ocean, it is hard to find a better spot for some sunset drinks.

The hotel houses twenty-eight rooms including one beautiful penthouse and each room is a celebration of art, style, architecture and design. The glass paneled walls make every room light, airy and spacious, but more importantly offer stunning views across the city. Whether you're soaking in the bathtub, reading a book on the sofa or spending a couple of extra minutes in bed, you are greeted by magnificent views.

Each room was individually designed and decorated by Liz Biden meaning that there is a twist of modern authenticity interwoven with the industrial architecture.

The hotel has a fully-equipped gym and a fabulous spa for those looking to unwind. Dining can take place in a number of the different bars that are dotted throughout the hotel and serve a whole variety of gorgeous cuisine that ranges from your Sunday Roast to Sea Food Curry.

This is Cape Town's latest trendy hotel and the price does reflect this, however the stunning views from the room and all the amenities within certainly make a stay here worthwhile.
