Tengile River Lodge - The Details

&Beyond's Kirkmans Kamp, Tengile has been built to not be intrusive on the wildlife. &Beyond have used durable and environmentally friendly materials to construct the lodge which utilises light and solar power to keep sustainability at its core, yet still immerses the guests in a tranquil utopia.
For all the sustainability concern, luxury has not been compromised in any way. Each suite is a fusion of modern authenticity and local design which all come together in a spacious master bedroom, outdoor shower, spectacular bathroom and its own private pool. In addition, the lodge is equipped with private lounge areas and a dining area.
If that still isn't enough for you, then the gym and spa facilities allow you to relax and rewind in between game drives. The minimum age of guests is twelve years old which maintains a sophisticated and calm atmosphere; however there is also an option of two interlinking suites for older families to enjoy.

The unfenced border between the
Sabi Sands and
Kruger National Park allows animals to roam freely which provides fantastic game viewing opportunities all year round. The concession consists of about 10,500 hectares, but only guests staying at the lodges are allowed on the property and animal sightings are strictly controlled by the guides. This combination makes for relaxed and intimate animal sightings.
Combining Tengile with &Beyond's other property,
Ngala Tented Camp would give a perfect blend between the Sabi Sands and the Timbavati, another concession in the Greater Kruger. Only an hour or so by private transfer, Ngala Tented Camp also provides a high class service in an intimate and private permanent tented camp. Tswalu Kalahari provides a perfect contrast in landscape and diversity in wildlife.
