The camp has a wonderful atmosphere; the large bedrooms are truly stunning, situated either side of a sitting room and dining room. There is a multi-level deck with a refreshing plunge pool and the elevated position of the camp creates expansive and breathtaking views across the Zibadianja Lagoon. Its lay out emphasis the expanse of living space which was inspired by wild Africa.
The area attracts large numbers of wildlife. In the dry season Elephants and Buffalo can be seen in huge herds, being the cross roads of Botswana’s most prolific wildlife regions. It boasts year round sightings of lion and leopard, Red Lechwe, zebra and giraffe.
All of the Chobe wildlife is present at Zarafa with a varied bird and mammal community. Abundant plains game can be found here including lechwe, kudu, buffalo, zebra and giraffe. It is also a predator-rich reserve including cheetah, wild dog, lion and leopard. The massive herds of elephant pass through the area in the dry season.
There is a wealth of activities here including game drives, walks, night drives, bush dinners, fishing, canoeing and boating. Even the most intrepid of travellers holds Zarafa as a firm favourite over all other
