Okonjima Bush Camp - The Details
Comprising of just eight thatched-style chalets, and a junior suite, bush camp provides an intimate and private experience that offers a true essence of safari.
Each chalet is spacious and glass fronted, allowing you unparalleled views across the landscape. Adjoining the chalets is an open fronted lounge area, the perfect place for an afternoon siesta.
The main lodge is charming and comprises of bar area, some very comfortable sofas and the swimming pool is a perfect place to relax in between activities. The open dining area allows you to enjoy meals al-fresco too, which overlooks a waterhole that teems with birdlife and has frequent mammalian visitors.
Activities here are all about the endangered species of Africa. Whether you head out tracking leopards with telemetry, go in search of white rhino, or go on a night drive looking for brown hyena and pangolin, there is plenty of opportunities to spot some of Africa’s rarest and most sought-after creatures.
