Staying here enables you to enjoy the best of both worlds. Game drives are taken in the main reserve where the density of game is unrivalled across Africa, and walks and night drives are taken in the concession.
Ngare is the smallest of the Serian camps and has just four luxury and extremely spacious tents. All are raised on wooden platforms and overlook the Mara River. The tents are all beautifully appointed, simple yet chic typical of Serian style.
As with every Serian camp, each tents comes with a private vehicle and guide for game drives. The exclusivity of the game drives is perfect for those wishing to tailor their day of game viewing. So whether you are a couple on honeymoon or a family the privacy of a private game drive is an added bonus to this beautiful camp. If you are a keen
No matter where you are in camp, the views are incredible. The main area is large and spacious whilst the campfire is surrounded by plush sofas that make the evenings fly by as guests exchange stories from their enthralling days.
An added adventure for those looking for a romantic evening under the stars is the secluded treehouse known as 'The Nest'. Here you can enjoy an afternoon game drive admiring the wildlife before heading to your spot for the night. Overlooking part of the Mara River which teems with honking hippos, this cosy tree-house is home to nest-shaped beds, plus plenty of space for additional bedrolls should the whole family want to embark on this beautiful night in the wild. Upon arrival you can enjoy a bucket shower, a sundowner drink and snack before laying back and spending a night or two watching the constellations flicker. There is also an infra-red spotlight and night vision camera for watching the nocturnal creatures below.
As is the case when visiting the Mara, the most popular time of year is between July and October when the plains see the arrival of around twenty-five percent of the Great Wildebeest Migration. During this time of year, combining Ngare with
Serian Nkorombo in the Mara Reserve which perfectly placed for the Great Migration, offers a real taste of what the Mara area has to offer.
