Our View

Namib Outpost is a beautiful lodge tucked into the granite outcrops that is synonymous with the Sesriem/Sossusvlei region. The camp is very good value for money and provides a beautiful spot in which to base yourself to explore Sossusvlei and its surrounds. Being small and intimate, there is a real lodge feel here and with little extras such as the sundowner deck and an extra bed to sleep under the stars, it rivals any camp in the area.

Namib Outpost - The Details

With only ten suites, the camp is small and intimate, allowing guests to enjoy one of the most peaceful and tranquil places on Earth.

The rooms are all very spacious, with huge beds, lounge areas and private decks. The views from each room are expansive of the Namib desert and a joy to behold no matter the time of day. Each room also has its own outdoor bed, which on request can be made up for you to sleep under the stars. A must for every guest!

The main area comprises of two swimming pools, an open-air and indoor dining area, as well as a bar and a sundowner deck that’s located on top of the granite outcrops. The staff are attentive and the chefs produce some outstanding food to accompany the brilliant service.

Although the camp is about forty-five minutes from the main gate to reach Sossusvlei, you can enjoy all the activities that the region offers. Be it visiting the dunes and Deadvlei, horse-riding, nature walks, visiting Sesriem canyon or just relaxing by the pool.

Namib Outpost provides everything a guest could wish for and it rivals any other camp in the region for value for money.
