Mozambique is a huge country. In land, their safari is not developed as in it’s neighbours. Therefore, Mozambique is primarily a beach destination. The lodges on offer here are best in the very south, or the very north. Generally prices for a beach break in Mozambique begin from around $420 per person per night, and go all the way up to $25,000 for a villa.
The best and pretty one off beach lodge in southern Mozambique is
White Pearl, which is utterly gorgeous. It is $420 per person per night and at the moment is pretty much the only option for a Mozambique beach escape. This is because, in the north the popular beach islands of the Quirimbas Archipelagos have a tourism warning at the moment, which means we wouldn’t send clients there at this time. Other than that, the Bazaruto Archipelago has an array of hotels which are very nice, but which are also very expensive for what you get. We would advise looking at other beach options at this time for that reason, unless you love the look of White Pearl (which is miles away from the troubles in the north).
